New Barn Riders 2016
Following a short haitus at the end of 2015, New Barn Riders is back in full force from January 2016, with talks and demos already planned for the first five months of the year.
In January 2016 we will be having the Mounted Volunteers co-ordinator from Cheshire Police to chat to us about how riders can get more involved with safety and crime prevention while out and about.
February will be Rachel Andrews from World Horse Welfare coming to chat to us about the things she has to tackle in her role as Field Officer for WHW.
March we will be going to Pinfold Stables in Marthall to visit with Alex Hua Tin, the Chinese International Event Rider for a tour around his yard and a talk about his preparations for Badminton and the Rio Olympics.
April, The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre will be coming along to chat to us about their work in taking racehorses from the track and on to useful and happy lives in other careers.
Dates are the third Wednesday of every month, talks starting at 7.30pm prompt in the classroom unless otherwise advertised.

Sunday January 31st 2016 - Saddle morning at New Barn.
10.00 to 12.30pm
Lisa Pritchard and Sam Campling will be hosting a saddles morning at New Barn. Sam will be bringing a whole selection of her second hand saddles for people to examine and try out. Lisa will be explaining the basics of saddle fitting for both horse and rider. If you want to bring your horse to try out a few saddles (no obligation to buy) then you will be very welcome. £10.00 per person.
